  •  Where've the updates been?!
    LIAM RETURNS!
    (uhm...part 2)

(Hangs head in shame.) OK, it's been a while since I've updated my own page...AGAIN!
But like always, I've been pretty busy with web designing for work. Soon I'll have some pics of my work there up on the CelticBear site. Pics because my work at work is on an intranet and thus not accessible to the outside world.
Also, been hard at work making the new Springfield Gaming Hub. It's a site for gamers in the SW Missouri area. Still needs some work, but not too bad IMHO. =)
  •  Hey! I'm Trying To Study Here!

Remember I mentioned I'm working on learning ASP? No? Then you don't come here enough. =) I recommended the book Wrox's "Beginning ASP 3.0" ISBN: 1861003382.
Now I'm also trying to learn PHP. That's a sort of open-source version of ASP that's found on just about any Linux based web server, and free to add to WinNT/2000 servers. If anyone has ANY recommendations for good PHP books, I'd really appreciate it! Likewise XML
  • Obsession Isn't a Bad Thing....

Heard of the online game regarding the movie "A.I."?. Despite what you thought of the movie, (personally I loved it. Check out my review HERE.) the game is a separate, huge, brilliant, fascinating, incredible, (insert more random adjectives here,) interactive multimedia sci-fi murder mystery. It's almost over (after about 5 months) but a group called Cloudmakers has done an excellent job preserving and detailing as much of it as they could. While it's too late to get involved in the game, I really urge you to check out the story line and puzzles. www.cloudmakers.com which has links to The GUIDE and The TRAIL is where to go. The Guide is a great linear walk-thru while the Trail is a database of all the components.
  • Check out this Cool Site
I recommend my own site CelticBear (*evil grin*.)
Seriously though, my current favorites (aside from what I have on my not-too-up-to-date Links Page) are on that site.
  • Scribble Pad
CelticBear has  become an extension of sorts of this site (despite what the URL's imply *grin*.) This Liam's Home section is on a much more informal level, and meant for friends and family to get a closer look at me (hey! what else are web pages for! *grin*) while CelticBear is slightly more public outlet. In that vein I'll likely put more rants and thoughts in the Thoughts section (huh, go fig) and save the CelticBear home page for stuff that might actually interest other people. =)
