Great Utilities

EditPlus2 • The BEST freakin' editor hands down. Period. Use it for ASCII editing, ASP, PHP, HTML, quick FTP what you're editing, debugger, etc etc. It's shareware, and VERY worth paying for!

PuTTY • A FREE SSH capable telnet client (plus other utilities.) If whatever server you ever have need to telnet or FTP into has SSH, use that instead! It's encrypted while Telnet and FTP is all clear text, including passwords!

WinRAR • An (un)compression utility, FAR superior and seamless in use than WinZip
