TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Built and rolled out Windows NT IIS to service entire center and 
beyond. 

Am proficient with HTML4, Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, FrontPage2000, 
Paint Shop Pro 7, and Windows NT and 2000 networking tools.

Currently developing education and experience in Linux OS, Photoshop,
ASP, PHP, mySQL, and Flash 5.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MCI (Worldcom): LAN Tech II (04/99 - present) 
Served as web master and primary designer for the center. Responsible 
for maintaining, upgrading, and trouble-shooting problems with NT, 
DEC/VMST, and Unix based servers. Performed first-level technical 
support for employees. 

Internet Navigator: Support Technician (04/99 - 10/99) 
First-line in over-the-phone support for Internet connectivity and 
software. Wrote the later 1999 product installation guide for both the 
Windows and Macintosh platforms. 

netINS: Support Technician (03/98 - 03/99) 
First-line in over-the-phone support for Internet connectivity and 
software. In charge of updating and creating new webpages for the 
"Rural Iowa Web" site netINS hosts for rural telephone companies and 
communities. Position required good working knowledge of various 
operating systems and have excellent communications skills. 

Waldenbooks: Assistant Store Manager (09/97 - 02/98) 
Assisted in the daily operations of retail book sales including 
employee management, merchandising, and customer service. 

Software ETC: Store Manager (06/95 - 09/97) 
Duties included store management and responsibility--training, 
merchandising, customer service, shipment managing, funds and banking, 
and Profit & Loss tracking. Wrote an article on good merchandising 
techniques for company newsletter. 

KXMS Radio: Operations Manager (08/90 - 05/95) 
Was an on-air announcer as well as trained employees and maintained 
network recording and broadcast. Wrote Public Service Announcements and 
maintained state of the art digital audio equipment. Commercial on-air 
license retained. 

EDUCATION

i-Net / CIW Certification from New Horizons (2001)

Certification to be awarded in November of 2001. First step in path 
to acquiring CIW Master Designer and Web Host Certifications. 
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/English from Missouri Southern State 
College, GPA: 3.2, Joplin MO (1995) 

Attained minor in Psychology with a focus in Education. Received 
notation in 1994's "Who's Who of Colleges & Universities," and received 
MSSC's "Outstanding Student in Theatre Education" in same year. 
Served as President of Alpha Psi Omega (Natl. Theatre Honor 
Organization), and membership in Omicron Delta Kappa (Natl. Leadership 
Organization) and Sigma Tau Delta (Natl. English Honor Organization).
