“In the name of security” update.

A couple of items regarding removal of basic liberty due to misguided security. I’ll keep it brief; this stuff is pretty self-explanatory:

The punchline there is that the CCTV system was used incorrectly, or police power was–you decide.
I wonder if they’ll have school uniforms, and if so, if it’ll use brown shirts
♦ Homeland Security charter school will train tomorrow’s prison guards
There’s nothing wrong with training in emergency preparedness! Everyone should have courses in it. But do we really believe that’s the goal of these schools?
